Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! We had our school Halloween party yesterday, because we have no school today! How awesome is that!? Yesterday was the last day of the 1st quarter, so today is a grading day for teachers. For my costume, I am going to do a group costume with my friend K. We're going to be donuts! To make our costumes, we're goin to blow up intertubes, glue or felt for frosting, and cut pipe cleaner for sprinkles. We will wear the tubes around our waists. We also bought purple wigs to wear, just for fun. The wigs match the frosting, so that looks really cool. I am going to go trick-or-treating at K's neighborhood. It's going to be so much fun! I love, love, love Halloween!!!

My New Phone!!!

After my parents got me an iphone 4S for my birthday, we had to get a case for it. We went to the mall, but none of the stores had really "cool" cases for the type of phone I had. We went to the apple store, and they told us that if we exchanged my phone, we could get an iphone 5C for just a little $. Then we realized that my mom was due for an upgrade, so SHE got the iphone 5C, and I got her iphone 5. Even though I didn't get the 5C, I'm still really happy with the 5. :) :) :)

My Birthday!

For my birthday, my family and I went to Cafe Deluxe. It was sooo good. I got Mac & Cheese. Then my parents gave me my presents and I got a phone! It was an iPhone 4S! After that we went to Yogi Berry and got frozen yogurt. It was the best night of  my life!

Philadelphia

Over the weekend, I went to Philadelphia. I loved it. My family and I went to Redding market and stayed in a hotel called Home2 Suites. I had a blast and so did my family!

California

Over Spring Break, I went to California. It was AWESOME! I had sooo much fun. I got to see my grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, cousins, and LOTS of other relatives for Passover. The Passover Sedar was nice. I lead the 4 questions. It was great!

Mr. Peabody and Sherman

I ALSO forgot to mention that after my family bought a dining room table, bought the wrong basketball hoop, went to Elevation Burger (by the way, we also went to Elevation Burger), and went to Costco (we went to Costco), we saw Mr. Peabody and Sherman! I don't want to spoil it for anybody, so I'll just say it was really good! ((I got gummy bears and soda!)

Ok, I just posted that my family got a basketball hoop yesterday, Right? Well, I forgot to tell you that there was a "small" mistake - the guy at the store ordered the WRONG HOOP!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure what were gonna do now, but I think my parents have a solution! ;)

Dining Room and Basketball

Yesterday, my family and I went to Crate & Barrel to buy a new dining room table. My brother and I got pretty bored. THEN we went to a sporting goods store to buy a BASKETBALL HOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was sweet!

Ice Skating

On Saturday I went to Cabin John to go ice skating with my friend Y at 4:00. We skated for 2 hours. I started out pretty bad but then I got better. I learned how to do a forward swizzel! At 6:30  Y and I went to Max Brenner, the new chocolate store. We got smores' that you can roast over a really tiny grill. We also got hot chocolate. It was so good! After that, we went to Y's house. She has a really cute dog! We played with her sister and did other fun stuff. I got picked up at 9:30. I had a awesome time. It was so much fun!

Flute

I play the flute for a band at school. I wanted to learn modern songs so I googled it and found a blog called Fluters Music. I learned how to play Roar by Katy Perry, one of my favorite songs! I can't stop playing it! "And your gonna hear me roar oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh"

4-Day Weekend

This weekend I have a 4-day weekend. I have Saturday and Sunday(no hebrew school on sunday). On Monday it's Martian Luther King Jr. Day, so no school. On Tuesday, all the teachers are doing report cards, so no school. It's a 4-day weekend!!!!!

Khan Academy

Khan Academy is a website that teaches kids computer programming. I made an account and I'm learning Java Script. It's really helpful. I've already learned so many things and created my own programs!

Java Script

Today I went over to my friend K's house. It was so much fun. We found a website that teaches about programming. We spent the whole afternoon learning java script. It was so much fun.

Snow Day

Today school was canceled because of the snow! I wake up at 7:15 to get to school which starts at 9:00. This morning I woke up at 8:45 so I knew we at least had a 2-hour delay. When I went downstairs, my little brother started screaming that school was canceled. Hooray, Hooray! Thank you snow! I spent the whole day playing in the snow and watching TV with my friends L and T. It was so much fun! I had a blast!

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

On New Year's Eve, I went over to my friend J's house. We played on the wii and watched Spymate. It was hilarious! I stayed at her house for lunch. I went home at about 2:30pm. Then my friend A came over to my house around 4:30pm.  She was going to sleep over. We played fooz-ball and then went out to dinner at Montgomery Mall. My parents and my little brother ate at California Pizza Kitchen, but A and I ate at Noodles & Company which was right next to CPA. I got the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese and a bottle of root beer. We finished before my  family even got their food, so we got to walk around the mall and look at the stores. After dinner, we went to see Frozen at 7:30pm. I had already seen it, but it was A's first time. It was a good movie- even the second time around. After we got home, we watched TV  until 11:45pm. Then we watched the Time Square performances and the ball drop at midnight. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 2014!!!! When we woke up we watched more TV because the rest of my family wasn't awake yet. When my dad woke up, he made us m&m pancakes. They were delicious! We played more fooz-ball, went on the hammock in the backyard, and played with my dog until A had to leave. It was around 1:00pm. That night My family and I had dinner with my mom's friends who live in California but were visiting. I had a cheeseburger and baked potatoes and for dessert I had a piece of double chocolate cake. Mmm!
